Josef Hickersberger

Josef Hickersberger is an Austrian former professional football player who was born on 27 April 1948. After his playing days he moved into management and became a former coach of the Austria national football team as well as of the Austrian club side Rapid Wien, two of the most prominent coaching posts in Austrian football. His career therefore spans both the pitch and the touchline, with a playing career followed by senior coaching at club and national level.
