John Meyler

John Meyler (born 1956 in Tacumshane, County Wexford) is an Irish hurling manager and former selector, association footballer, Gaelic footballer and hurler who is currently the manager of Kilmoyley. His inter-county career as a player spanned fifteen years, beginning as a dual minor with Wexford and continuing with the county's under-21 and senior sides before he joined the Cork senior team in 1982. With Cork he won an All-Ireland medal in 1986. As a dual player with the St Finbarr's club he won seven county championship medals across both codes, dual Munster medals and an All-Ireland medal as captain of the club's football team in 1987. As a manager, selector, coach and trainer he has worked with Kilmoyley, Ballinhassig, Courcey Rovers and Inniscarra and with the Kerry, Wexford, Carlow and Cork senior hurling teams, and he managed Kerry to the 2012 Christy Ring Cup.
