Joe McDonagh, known in Irish as Seosamh Mac Donnchadha, was an Irish hurler and Gaelic games administrator, born in Tuam, County Galway, in 1953 and died in 2016. He played club hurling for Ballinderreen and inter-county hurling for Galway, making his senior debut in the 1972-73 league and playing 15 championship games before retiring after 1983.
