Joe Keohane (Joseph Nicholas Keohane, 18 August 1918 to 5 January 1988) was an Irish Gaelic football manager, selector and former player whose league and championship career at senior level with the Kerry county team spanned thirteen seasons from 1936 to 1948. He made his debut on the inter-county scene at the age of seventeen when he was selected on the Kerry minor team in 1936, played one championship season with the minors and ended his time in that grade as an All-Ireland runner-up. His army service included a period at Renmore Barracks in Galway. At senior level he won a third Munster title in a row with a big 4-14 to 0-06 win and, for the second season in a row, faced the Leinster champions Laois in the All-Ireland semi-final, a close game that Kerry won by 2-06 to 2-04 before facing Galway in the final.
