Jérémy Ménez is a French former professional footballer who played as a forward, born on 7 May 1987. He was described as an ambipedal, technically skilled and pacy playmaker. After youth spells with clubs around the Île-de-France region he joined the Sochaux academy in 2001 and in March 2004 became the youngest professional player in the history of Ligue 1. He later played for Monaco, where he developed into a playmaking midfielder, then Roma, with whom he first featured in the UEFA Champions League, then Paris Saint-Germain from 2011 and AC Milan from 2014. For France he won the 2004 UEFA European Under-17 Championship, made his senior debut in August 2010 against Norway and represented his country at Euro 2012.
