Jennifer Capriati is an American former professional tennis player who turned professional and reached a Grand Slam semifinal as a teenager in the early 1990s. After a turbulent period away from the top of the sport, she made a celebrated comeback in the early 2000s, winning multiple Grand Slam singles titles and reaching the world number one ranking.
