Jason Richardson

Jason Anthoney Richardson Sr., born on January 20, 1981, is an American former professional basketball player who played 14 seasons in the National Basketball Association. He was taken by the Golden State Warriors as the fifth overall pick in the 2001 NBA draft after playing college basketball for the Michigan State Spartans, and he later played for the Charlotte Bobcats, Phoenix Suns, Orlando Magic and Philadelphia 76ers. He is often remembered for his dunking and shooting. He won the NBA Dunk Contest in both 2002 and 2003, the second player after Michael Jordan to win it in consecutive years, and later became a more proficient shooter, leading the league in three-pointers made from the 2007-08 to 2011-12 seasons. Since 2021 he has been an active player for Tri-State of the BIG3.
