He played in the National Hockey League for over thirteen seasons, appearing for the Florida Panthers, Chicago Blackhawks, Columbus Blue Jackets, Edmonton Oilers, Buffalo Sabres, Montreal Canadiens and Carolina Hurricanes, seven clubs in all.
