Jan Pancar is a Slovenian professional motocross racer, born on 18 May 2000. He has competed in the MXGP class of the Motocross World Championship since the 2024 season, having previously raced the MX2 class full-time from 2018. For most of his world championship career he has competed as a privateer for his small, family-run team, yet he has recorded several top-ten overall finishes in the MXGP class against better funded rivals. He has represented Slovenia at the Motocross des Nations eight times, including the 2025 edition where the team recorded its highest overall result. In the Italian Prestige Motocross Championship he became MX2 class champion in 2022 and MX1 class champion in 2026. He is the son of Igor Pancar, a former national-level Slovenian motocross racer.
