Jacques Anquetil

Jacques Anquetil was a French professional road racing cyclist who became the first rider to win the Tour de France five times, in 1957 and from 1961 to 1964. Known as Monsieur Chrono for his time trial ability, he won eight Grand Tours in total, set the hour record in 1956 at 46.159 kilometers, and became the first rider since Fausto Coppi to win both the Giro d'Italia and the Tour de France in the same year, in 1964.
