Jackie Stewart

Sir Jackie Stewart is a Scottish former racing driver born in 1939 who competed in Formula One from 1965 to 1973. Known as the Flying Scot, he won three World Drivers Championships, in 1969, 1971 and 1973, all with Tyrrell, and held the records for most race wins, 27, and most podium finishes, 43, among Formula One drivers at the time he retired. He was the only British driver with three championships until Lewis Hamilton equalled him in 2015, and following John Surtees's death in 2017 became the last surviving Formula One World Champion from the 1960s.
