Irene van Dyk is a former netball player who is the most capped international netballer in the sport's history, representing first South Africa and then, after emigrating, New Zealand across a career spanning more than two decades. She won a Commonwealth Games gold medal with New Zealand and was widely regarded as one of the finest goal shooters of her generation. Her switch of national allegiance between South Africa and New Zealand was among the most notable in international netball history.
