Imran Khan

Bat-and-Ball Sports

Imran Khan is a Pakistani former international cricketer who captained the national team to victory at the 1992 Cricket World Cup, the country's only title in the tournament. A fast-bowling all-rounder, he played for Pakistan for more than twenty years and is remembered as one of the sport's great captains for the way he built and led that championship side. He later entered politics and served as Prime Minister of Pakistan, a career outside the scope of this entry.
