Hansle Parchment

Hansle Parchment is a Jamaican track and field athlete who competes in the 110 metres hurdles. Born on 17 June 1990, he is an alumnus of the University of the West Indies, Kingston, and won the 2011 Summer Universiade for Jamaica, running a then personal best of 13.24. At the 2012 Summer Olympics he took the bronze medal with a then Jamaican record of 13.12, and at the 2015 World Championships he won silver in 13.03, beaten only by Sergey Shubenkov. He won the Olympic gold medal in the event at the 2020 Summer Olympics, running 13.04 ahead of Grant Holloway and Ronald Levy on 5 August 2021. At the 2023 World Championships he took silver in 13.07 behind Grant Holloway, and he then won the 2023 Diamond League Final in a new personal best of 12.93.
