Hakuho Sho is a Mongolian-born former sumo wrestler who holds the sport's record for most top-division tournament championships, with 45 during his career, well ahead of any other wrestler in sumo history. He was promoted to yokozuna, the sport's highest rank, in 2007 and held it for an unusually long span of more than a decade. After retiring from active competition he became a sumo elder and stable master under the Japan Sumo Association.
