Georges Jobé, who lived from 1961 to 2012, was a Belgian professional motocross racer. He competed in the FIM Motocross World Championships from 1979 to 1994, a career of sixteen seasons, and is notable for being a five-time FIM Motocross World Champion. He was named Belgian Sportsman of the year in 1987 and again in 1992. The English Wikipedia lead on him is brief, so this entry records his championship span, his title count, his sporting honours and his Belgian nationality and leaves his factory teams and season by season results for deeper research from further sources.
