Gary McFadden, known as Copper and born in the 1980s, is an Irish Gaelic footballer who plays for Glenswilly and who played for the Donegal county team, normally as a midfielder or half forward. He was a panel member when Donegal won the 2012 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship. Educated at St Eunan's College in Letterkenny, he is the nephew of Manus McFadden, who was crucial in the foundation of Glenswilly's GAA club. McFadden captained Glenswilly to their first Donegal Senior Football Championship in 2011, a 1-8 to 0-9 victory over St Michael's, having captained the team that lost the 2007 county final, and he won his second in 2013. His team progressed to the final of the Ulster Senior Club Football Championship.
