Garrett Burnett (1975 to 2022), nicknamed Rocky, was a Canadian ice hockey enforcer who played one season in the National Hockey League, with the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim in the 2003 to 2004 season. Undrafted, he spent most of his career in the minor leagues, mainly the East Coast Hockey League, where he amassed 2,562 penalty minutes for 13 different teams, including 506 in only 58 games for the Kentucky Thoroughblades in the 1999 to 2000 season. In his NHL season he played 39 games, scoring one goal with two assists and 184 penalty minutes, and had 22 fights. He also tried lacrosse: in 2006 he signed with the Arizona Sting of the National Lacrosse League and landed on its practice roster, and that year he played for the New Westminster Salmonbellies of the Western Lacrosse Association. His last hockey game was in the Quebec-based LNAH in December 2006.
