Éver Banega is an Argentine footballer, born on 29 June 1988 in Rosario in the province of Santa Fe. The Olympedia biographical record gives his full name as Éver Maximiliano David Banega and lists his height and weight as 175 centimetres and 73 kilograms. At the time of that record his club affiliation was Valencia CF of Spain. He took part in the men's football tournament at the 2008 Summer Olympics representing Argentina, and the Argentine side finished first, so Olympedia credits him with one Olympic gold medal. The same record notes that he is among the Olympians who took part in the 2008 Olympic football qualification campaign for men.
