Ester Ledecka is a Czech athlete born March 23, 1995, who competes at the elite level in both alpine skiing and snowboarding. At the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics she won gold in the super-G in alpine skiing and gold in the parallel giant slalom in snowboarding at the same Games, the first athlete ever to win gold medals in two different sports using two different types of equipment at one Winter Olympics. She won another parallel giant slalom snowboarding gold at the 2022 Beijing Games and has won multiple World Championship medals in both disciplines.
