Ema Kawakami

Ema Kawakami is a Japanese skateboarder, born on 8 September 2014, who is the youngest person to land a 900 and the first person to land three consecutive 900s. In August 2022 he landed his first 900 at the age of seven, and he won the 2023 Japan Skateboarding Federation vertical contest and the Wingram Cup 2023 Vertical Series Vol. 1. He holds the Guinness World Record for the most backside 540 skateboard tricks in one minute, with eight. In April 2024 he joined GoPro's professional athlete team, and on 15 June 2024, at nine years old, he landed three consecutive 900s at the Tony Hawk's Vert Alert competition in front of Tony Hawk himself. In July 2025 he landed a 1080 at the X Games in Salt Lake City and won bronze.
