Ellen Toni Convery, born Ellen White on 9 May 1989 and commonly known as Ellen White, is an English former professional footballer who played as a forward and is the record goalscorer for the England women national team. She progressed through the Arsenal academy, returned to the club in 2010 after spells with Chelsea and Leeds Carnegie, and also played for Notts County, Birmingham City and Manchester City. She won the league with Arsenal in 2011 and 2012, and took the WSL Golden Boot for 2017-18. With England she played at the 2011, 2015 and 2019 FIFA Women World Cups, finishing third in 2015 and winning the Bronze Boot in 2019, and she represented the Great Britain team at the 2012 and 2020 Summer Olympics. She was named England Women Player of the Year in 2011, 2018 and 2021.
