Elfriede Kaun (1914 to 2008) was a German high jumper from Schleswig-Holstein. She was born in Buttel in the Steinburg district and competed for the sports club Kieler TV. At the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin she won the bronze medal in the high jump, with a personal best of 1.63 metres. She died in Kiel in 2008, and at that time she was recognised as the last living German athlete who had won a medal at the 1936 Games. Her account here rests on a short encyclopedia biography, so results beyond the Berlin bronze are not recorded.
