Earl Anthony was an American professional ten-pin bowler widely regarded as one of the greatest in the sport's history, the first bowler to earn more than one million dollars in career prize money on the Professional Bowlers Association tour. He won 41 PBA Tour titles during his career and was named PBA Player of the Year six times. His smooth, understated left-handed bowling style influenced a generation of professional bowlers who followed him.
