Diego Ribas da Cunha, who competed under the single name Diego, is a Brazilian footballer born on 28 February 1985 in Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo. Olympedia lists him at 173 cm and 73 kg and gives his club affiliation as SV Werder Bremen of Bremen, Germany. He represented Brazil in the men's football tournament at the 2008 Summer Olympics, where the Brazilian team finished in third place and he received a bronze medal. That single Games is the whole of his Olympic record as Olympedia presents it, and the bronze is his only Olympic medal.
