Declan Walsh, born in 1989, is an Irish Gaelic footballer who played for Malin, the northernmost GAA club in Ireland, and for the Donegal county team, and who later transferred to a club in Monaghan. He won the 2006 Ulster Minor Football Championship with Donegal, played through the 2010 Ulster Under-21 Football Championship, which Donegal won, and played in the 2010 All-Ireland Under-21 final that Donegal narrowly lost to Dublin. He was part of the Donegal team that won the 2012 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship, having come on as a substitute against Tyrone in the Ulster semi-final. His father was prominent in his local GAA club, and Walsh also played traditional music at All-Ireland Fleadhs.
