David Philippaerts, born in 1983 in Pietrasanta, is an Italian former professional motocross racer of Italian and Belgian descent. He competed in the Motocross World Championships from 2000 to 2014 and returned as a wild card in 2022. His most notable achievement is winning the 2008 MX1 World Championship, which he did in the premier MX1-GP class riding for a Yamaha team run by the former world champion Michele Rinaldi.
