David Bellion

David Bellion, born on 27 November 1982 in Sevres, is a French former professional footballer who played as a striker. He started his career at Cannes at the age of 14 and moved to Sunderland in 2001, scoring his only Premier League goal for the club against Aston Villa in September 2002. He joined Manchester United in 2003 and scored on his debut in a pre-season match against Celtic, but found first-team chances scarce, spent time on loan at West Ham United, and returned to France with Nice in 2006. At Bordeaux from 2007 he won Ligue 1 and the Coupe de la Ligue in 2008-09. He finished his playing career at Red Star, helping the club win the Championnat National and gain promotion to Ligue 2 in 2015, and then became the club's creative director.
