Danny Graham, born Daniel Anthony William Graham on 12 August 1985, is an English former professional footballer who played as a striker. He began his professional career at Middlesbrough in 2003 and made his debut in a Premier League match against Manchester United the following year, later representing England at under-20 level. During four years at Middlesbrough he made only one first team start and was loaned to clubs in all three divisions of the Football League before a two-year deal with Carlisle United in 2007. He then joined Watford, who were ordered to pay compensation, and topped their scoring in both seasons there, winning the club Player of the Season award and finishing as the Championship top scorer in 2010-11. A 3.5 million pound move to Swansea City in July 2011 followed, where he led the side with 12 league goals in his first season. Spells at Sunderland, Blackburn Rovers, where he won promotion and a place in the PFA Team of the Year for 2017-18, and a return to Sunderland preceded retirement in 2021.
