Daniel McLaughlin, born in 1990, is an Irish Gaelic footballer who plays for St Michael's and who played for the Donegal county team. With his club he emerged from the shadows of the more experienced forwards Colm McFadden and Christy Toye, and St Michael's reached the final of the 2011 Donegal Senior Football Championship, their first ever senior final, which they lost although he scored during the game. He featured in the 2010 Ulster Under-21 Football Championship won by Donegal, starting against Armagh, Derry and Cavan and scoring 0-2 in the semi-final. Jim McGuinness first called him into the senior squad ahead of the 2011 Dr McKenna Cup, and he was a squad member during Donegal's 2012 All-Ireland winning campaign, although he did not play in the final.
