Dana Zátopková, born Dana Ingrová on 19 September 1922 and died on 13 March 2020, was a Czech javelin thrower. She won the gold medal in the javelin throw at the 1952 Summer Olympics, only an hour after her husband Emil Zátopek won the 5,000 m, and took the silver medal at the 1960 Summer Olympics. She was European champion in 1954 and 1958. On 1 June 1958 she became the oldest woman in athletics to break a world record, aged 35 years and 255 days, with a throw of 55.73 metres. With her husband she also witnessed the 1957 wedding of Olympic gold medalists Olga Fikotova and Harold Connolly in Prague.
