Severin Freund (born 11 May 1988) is a German former ski jumper who now works as a television expert. He competed at World Cup level from 2008 to 2022 and is counted among the most successful ski jumpers Germany has produced. He won the overall World Cup title in 2015 and took 22 individual World Cup victories. As a member of the German national team he won a gold medal at the 2014 Winter Olympics, and in 2015 he became World Champion on both the large hill and in the mixed team competition.
