June Field is a World Series of Poker bracelet winner, having won the 1982 $400 Ladies Limit 7 Card Stud event. She is an inductee of the Women's Poker Hall of Fame. Beyond playing, she was a publisher in the poker trade press: in 1988 she founded Card Player Magazine and later Card Player Cruises, and she eventually sold both to Linda Johnson. She then started Poker Digest, a publication that later merged with Casino Player Magazine. Her career therefore links tournament poker at the World Series of Poker with the magazines and events that covered the game.
