Colm Cavanagh

Colm Cavanagh is a Gaelic footballer from the Moy club who played for the Tyrone county team until announcing his retirement from inter-county football in September 2020. His older brother Seán also played for Tyrone. After playing for the University of Ulster and reaching the 2007 Sigerson Cup final, he made his Tyrone debut in the 2007 Dr McKenna Cup, a debut that set off a dispute over whether the university or the county had first call on him. With Tyrone he won the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship in 2008, five Ulster Senior Football Championships between 2007 and 2017 and All Star Awards in 2017 and 2018, and with Moy he won the All-Ireland Intermediate Club Football Championship in 2018.
