Christy Jacob, formally Christopher Jacob, is an Irish retired hurler, born in 1944 in Wickmore, County Wexford, who enjoyed a successful career as a centre-back with the Wexford senior team. He was introduced to hurling in his youth, and his granduncle, Jim Mythen, was an All-Ireland medal winner with Wexford in 1910. He quickly established himself on the Oulart-The Ballagh junior team. He is identified here as the Wexford centre-back born in 1944 to tell him apart from other people of the same name, including the other members of the Jacob family who hurled for Wexford.
