Christopher Joyce (hurler)

Christopher Joyce is an Irish hurler who plays club hurling for Na Piarsaigh in the Cork Senior Championship, usually lining out as a right wing-back, and is a former member of the Cork senior hurling team. He joined Na Piarsaigh at a young age and won a Féile na nGael title in 2006, and his first success at adult level came on 7 December 2013 when he was at centre-back in the Cork Senior Hurling League final win over Sarsfields. He played for Cork at minor and under-21 level, captaining the under-21 team in 2013, and made his senior championship debut on 7 July 2012 against Offaly. In 2013 he was first-choice centre-back and played in the All-Ireland final against Clare, which ended in a draw, and in 2014 he won his first Munster medal with a win over Limerick.
