Chris Hoy is a Scottish former track cyclist and racing driver who represented Great Britain at the Olympic Games and World Championships. He is an eleven time world champion and a six time Olympic champion, and his seven Olympic medals, six gold and one silver, make him the second most decorated Olympic cyclist of all time. With three gold medals at the 2008 Summer Olympics he became Scotland's most successful Olympian and the first British male athlete to win three gold medals at a single Olympic Games since 1908, and his seventeen global titles across four disciplines rank him second among track cyclists in history.
