Christopher Wesson Bosh, born on 24 March 1984, is an American former professional basketball player. After being named Texas Mr. Basketball in high school and playing one season at Georgia Tech, he entered the 2003 NBA draft and was selected fourth overall by the Toronto Raptors. He became a five-time NBA All-Star in Toronto and left in 2010 as the franchise's all-time leader in points, rebounds, blocks and minutes played. That year he moved to the Miami Heat in a sign-and-trade, joining Dwyane Wade and LeBron James as the Big Three, and the Heat reached the NBA Finals every year from 2011 to 2014, winning titles in 2012 and 2013. A blood clotting condition ended his playing career, his last game coming on 9 February 2016. He won gold with the United States at the 2008 Summer Olympics and has been inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame twice.
