Chou Chun-hsun, also romanized Zhou Junxun, is a Taiwanese professional Go player born on February 23, 1980, in Taipei. Unlike many Taiwanese players who relocate to Japan to compete, Chou remained in Taiwan, turning professional in 1993 and becoming the first player to reach 9 dan while competing only through the Taiwanese association Taiwan Qiyuan, in 1998. He is the only Taiwan Qiyuan player to win an international title, taking the LG Cup in 2007 by defeating Hu Yaoyu two games to one, and is regarded as the finest player Taiwan Qiyuan has produced, known colloquially as the red-faced go master for a distinctive facial birthmark.
