Cédric Carrasso is a French former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper, spending most of his career with Marseille and Bordeaux. He was born on 30 December 1981 and joined the Marseille youth system at the age of thirteen. After a loan to Crystal Palace and another to Guingamp, where he first became a number one keeper, he established himself at Marseille before an Achilles injury cost him his place to Steve Mandanda. He moved to Toulouse for the 2008-09 season, then joined Bordeaux for a reported fee of eight million euros in 2009, replacing the long-serving Ulrich Ramé. He ended his career with Galatasaray, winning the Süper Lig in 2017-18. Carrasso was capped once for the France national team, in a friendly against Poland on 8 June 2011, and was named in the squad for the 2010 FIFA World Cup as third-choice goalkeeper.
