Carl Yastrzemski is an American former professional baseball outfielder who played his entire career with the Boston Red Sox. He won the American League Triple Crown in 1967 while leading the Red Sox to the pennant in their "Impossible Dream" season, and went on to a long, productive career that made him one of the franchise's most celebrated players.
