Buvaisar Hamidovich Saitiev is a Russian freestyle wrestler born March 11, 1975, in Khasavyurt, Dagestan, regarded as one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. He won three Olympic gold medals in the 74 kilogram class, at the 1996 Atlanta, 2004 Athens and 2008 Beijing Games, and added six World Championship titles between 1995 and 2005, for nine world level gold medals in total. He also won six European Championship titles across his career.
