Robert John Skilton, born in 1938, is a former Australian rules footballer who played as a rover for South Melbourne in the Victorian Football League. He is one of only four players to have won the Brownlow Medal three times, taking it in 1959, when he tied with Verdun Howell, and again in 1963 and 1968, a record shared with Haydn Bunton Senior, Dick Reynolds and Ian Stewart. Jack Dyer rated him better than Bunton and equal to Reynolds. In 2023 he was elevated to Legend status in the Sport Australia Hall of Fame, and the Sydney Swans best and fairest award is named the Bob Skilton Medal in his honour.
