Big Show

Combat Sports

Big Show is the ring name of Paul Donald Wight II, an American professional wrestler and actor born on February 8, 1972. He is best known for two long tenures: World Championship Wrestling from 1995 to 1999, where his great height and large frame earned him the name the Giant and an introduction as the son of Andre the Giant, and the World Wrestling Federation, later WWE, from 1999 to 2021 under the name Big Show. Before wrestling he played college basketball at Wichita State University and other schools, and he began wrestling in 1994. Across the two promotions he held 23 championships in total, including seven world championships and eleven world tag team titles, and he won the thirty-man Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 31. Outside the ring he has acted in films and television, among them Jingle All the Way, The Waterboy and the Netflix sitcom The Big Show Show. The source describes him as now working for All Elite Wrestling as a commentator.
