Ben Anthony Foster, born on 3 April 1983, is an English footballer who retired as a goalkeeper. He began his professional career in 2001 with Stoke City without playing for them, and spent loan periods at Bristol City, Tiverton Town, Stafford Rangers, Kidderminster Harriers and Wrexham. He joined Manchester United permanently in July 2005, played only 23 times for them and spent two seasons on loan at Watford, though he was in the League Cup winning teams of 2009 and 2010. He moved to Birmingham City in 2010 and was part of their 2011 League Cup winning side, then went to West Bromwich Albion in 2012, returned to Watford in 2018 and ended his career at Wrexham, helping them to the National League title in 2023. He debuted for England in February 2007 against Spain and was selected for the 2014 World Cup squad. He also runs a cycling YouTube channel and a podcast.
