Ayrton Senna was a Brazilian racing driver who competed in Formula One from 1984 to 1994, winning three World Drivers Championship titles with McLaren. He held the record for most pole positions in the sport at the time of his death, with 65, and won 41 Grands Prix across eleven seasons. Senna was killed in a crash during the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix, and he is remembered as one of the sports greatest drivers as well as for his philanthropic work in Brazil.
