Annegret Richter, born Annegret Irrgang on 13 October 1950, is a German sprinter who competed for West Germany and won the women's 100 metres at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal. She took her first international title in the 4 x 100 metre relay at the 1971 European Championships, finished fifth in the 100 metres at the 1972 Munich Games, and ran on the West German relay team that won gold there in a world record time. In 1976 she set a world record of 11.01 in the semifinal and then beat the defending champion Renate Stecher of East Germany in the final, with Inge Helten also within a metre. Three days later she added silver medals in the 200 metres and the relay. She won 28 national titles and retired after the boycott of the 1980 Moscow Games.
