Anna van der Breggen is a Dutch professional cyclist who won the Olympic gold medal in the women's road race in 2016 and the UCI Road World Championship road race title in 2018 and 2020, adding the world time trial title the same year. She won the Giro d'Italia Femminile four times, in 2015, 2017, 2020 and 2021, and won La Fleche Wallonne seven times, taking all three Ardennes classics in a single week in 2017. She retired at the end of 2021 after the Tokyo Olympics before returning to professional racing for the 2025 season.
