Anna Yuriyivna Ushenina, born August 30, 1985, is a Ukrainian chess grandmaster, a title she earned in 2012, who was Women's World Chess Champion from November 2012 to September 2013. Her peak FIDE rating of 2502 came in July 2007, and beyond her world championship reign she won the European Women's Chess Championship in 2016. She has been a strong contributor to Ukraine's national team, winning a gold medal with the Ukrainian team at the 44th Chess Olympiad in 2022 and an individual silver medal on board three at the same event.
