Ángel María Villar Llona, born on 21 January 1950, is a Spanish former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He spent a decade with Athletic Bilbao, appearing in more than 350 official matches for the club and scoring 11 goals, and he was also capped by the Spain national team during the 1970s. After his playing career he moved into football administration and served as president of the Spanish Football Federation for almost thirty years, so his career spans both the pitch and the administration of the game.
